The previous Poppy Rose website was developed several years ago, and had long overstayed its welcome. Not only was it lacking key functionality to help the business operate more efficiently and grow, but the software had reached a point where it could no longer be updated without the entire website breaking. Not great!
The aim of this project was to:
- Improve efficiency in managing orders.
- Integrate with more third-party platforms (such as delivery drivers).
- Allow stock levels to be managed at a very fine level.
- Allow automatic order cut-off times for same-day delivery.
- Allow gifts and other products to be purchased as well.
