Writing tips

  1. Each page should ideally have at least 200-300 words. If your content is significantly longer, we may break it up into multiple pages when we add to the website. This will help improve your website’s ranking in Google.
  2. Try to primarily speak in a “first person” voice, such as “We are the leader…” or “XYZ Industries is the leader”. A mixture of the two is fine, but don’t use “they”.
  3. Use bullet points and subheadings to break up long paragraphs.
  4. Treat the page headings like a hierarchy, by using the “Paragraph” dropdown in the editor toolbar. For a main heading, use Heading 1 (only once). For subheadings, use Heading 2 (as many times as you like). For subheadings within subheadings, use Heading 3, and so on.
Working with GO Creative to develop our website has been a trouble-free experience. We told them what we wanted the site to do for our business and how much we were willing to spend to get there and they delivered. We have also been very impressed with GO Creative’s post-development support. Any requests to change/update our site have proved timely and cost effective, and that has been a big plus for us.
